The Summer Season starts here! (Outdoor Sessions details)

Now that the indoor season is drawing to a close, our attention is starting to look at the summer and the return of our Outdoor Recreational Sessions.
Details for our regular Outdoor Sessions are as follows:
Days - Held every Tuesday from May - September
Time - 6pm til dark (the Juniors specific sessions (6+ years old) will finish at 7pm)
Playing Surface - Grass - 2 courts available
Cost - Free* (We do have a collection tin and we welcome any donations which would go towards new outdoor equipment)
Level - any age, any ability and non members welcome
Format (Adults) - as we have two outdoor courts, we will have one court for social recreational play, coaches and experienced players will be on hand to give pointers and encouragement to any beginners. From 7pm the other court will be available for additional gameplay/ competitions
Format (Juniors) - (6 - 12 year olds) this will be available from 6pm until 7pm - we will have at least one of our coaches assigned to support them in developing their skills and enjoying the outdoor game
Location - Lucas Avenue St Judes Plymouth PL4 9HF - directions to get to Lucas Terrace Recreation Ground is to approach Plymouth City Centre via embankment Road (inbound) and turn right into Lanhydrock Road (opposite the speed camera). It is on the Recreational Ground opposite the Suit Company and inbetween the bottle banks and Tothill Park playground and you can park anywhere on that road . (Please note there are currently road works on Embankment Road so you will need to turn around and come back on Embankment Lane and Laira Bridge Rd to come back onto Embankment Road (outbound))
As always there will be flexibility upon holding these sessions as factors such as bad weather and bank holidays can affect them going ahead. Some people may just want to play more often which we will be happy to encourage. Just contact Tracy Wilins to request access to the outdoor equipment.
