Ivybridge Satellite Club up and running!

We have been running a satellite programme at Ivybridge Community College,. The aim of the programme was to provide opportunities for the students and young adults in the South Hams area to specifically train toward the transition from School level volleyball to the 6-a-side form of the game.
The aspiration was for the club to become a satellite club with a team to represent in the local league and provide them with exit routes to progress to our national squads if they have the desire and drive to take their volleyball further.
I am pleased to say that the programme has been a resounding success with a predominantly feale group aged between 14 and 17 and there has been an average of 12+ attending the sessions. From November we expect that those attending will enter a team in the PMVC led Plymouth Local Volleyball League as well as entering other regional development tournaments.
