PMVC Skills Group Drakes won the match emphatically by 5 sets to nil with 3 players making their EDVA Debut (S, Pereira, L. Sowden & C. Mitchell).
Exeter Uni were no pushover as they upped their game throughout the duration of the match but so too did Drakes.
Both Number 11's claimed MVP nominations - Andy Chadwick & Saya. Well done guys. We look forward to the rematch in two weeks.
A great start for Drakes in their first competitive match of the season. A new kit, a new sponsor and a renewed ambition were most apparent in this first victory of the new campaign.
